We drove 2 days up to New Jersey to visit my aunt who lives near my starting location.  The road trip went well. Brooke was great and so was Domino. Along the way, we stopped in Philadelphia to visit a friend who is doing so good with raising awareness of the overdose epidemic and bringing support to the people who have lost loved ones to it. We met in a deli and I was given my first REAL Philly cheesesteak. It was soooooooooooo good!!!! When we arrived at my aunt’s, I saw this banner they had made for me. There were friends and family and beers and hamburgers waiting for me. It was very special. I am happy to be spending the last couple of days before the walk with such wonderful people.

  • GOD SPEED my friend! You are already making a difference. ♡

  • Praying for you on your courageous journey. May the deep love you have for your sister reach out to not only those who share your pain and your experience, but to those who are unaware, uneducated, and unknowing of the demon that lives in their midst. Blessings to you Brett!

  • I will be praying for you as you take this journey across states.
Your sister will be very proud of you and all you are doing to bring awareness about drugs and the affect it has on people and their families.
If it saves one life it will be worth it.
    God bless you.

  • Thank you for raising awareness to this horrible disease. My son suffers from Heroin addiction and is currently in treatment. We have been fighting this demon now for four years. God bless you and be with you on your journey!

We live in Louisville, Colorado. You have a place to sleep and eat when the time comes.
